Keep in mind that this is not everything we own—this is everything we own that we can find. The Playstation and Dreamcast games, doujinshi, and comics (and many other more easily sold possessions) are conveniently not in their usual locations.

Edit (Hikaru): Post has been unlocked so that people who are not on our friends list can also buy things.

Edit (John): Found a bunch of packaging, so three cds moved up from "no packaging" to "have packaging", and five cds that had been AWOL got added to the "have packaging" category. Yey!

LUNAAAAAAR. DO WANT.
Probably can't afford, but uh. How much do you want for it?

(I'd buy the PS2 off you, actually, but there's no way I can afford it until I have a job again.)

At this point, whatever you're willing to offer! Which means that, yeah, if you went "Hurhur, how about $10 plus shipping," we'd go "SURE THING HERE YOU GO". You've got no competition and even $10 seriously helps.

We have a dozen flat rate boxes, so if anyone wanted to buy a whole crapload of things, we could mail it inside the States for $8.95 regardless of weight. If we just wrapped up Lunar in bubbles and paper and mailed it first class by itself, it'd be $2-$3.

(I can't even do like $50 tbh.)

Argh.
PS2 that will play my blue games. *flails madly*

Uh.
Anyway. IT MAY END UP ONLY BEING $10. Let me see what my bank balance is in 2 days after the ebay stuff clears. Is that okay, 2 days?

Sure thing! We can stick Lunar on ice for two days. It doesn't look like anyone's going to make a HUEG offer out of nowhere, not to mention that eBay would take longer and probably find a magical way to make us pay more in fees and miscalcuated shipping than we'd make in sales. *thumbs up for eBay! not*

There are a number of items that interest me in your albums without covers section. When would you want the money by, do you take PayPal, and what are you asking an album?

(Reply to this) (Thread)

[info]flatlanders
2008-04-04 08:06 am UTC (link)
For the albums without covers, we're not asking much. Most of the CDs we own, we bought used for less than $3 at Last Vestige, the Salvation Army, or from Amazon or eBay. Last Vestige buys used CDs with packaging for $1 each-- without any packaging, of course, there's no sale.

Therefore, they've got a tentative price of $1 each, but it's extremely negotiable. The SonMay knockoffs might not even be worth 50 cents, even though we lucked out and ended up with ones that weren't abysmally poor quality.

Ack, I focused on the pricing so much, I forgot to answer your other two questions!

We do take Paypal. We have an verified Premier account with the email faolantuath@gmail.com, which we set up two years ago for selling things on eBay. It can take payments both by Paypal and by credit or debit card.

There's no deadline for payment, but the sooner we have it, the sooner we're able to use it. A bank transfer takes about 3-4 to go through, so that's also something we have to consider.

Oh, if it wasn't for our current situation, it'd be a gift! It's one of Setsu's CDs, from back when she sang at the front—she discovered how much she loved his work from singing it.

We really wish we had some of the recordings she made rather than some of the other CDs we've got—she sang with several choirs in one of the local cathedrals for a professional recording of the Carmina Burana (and, yes, the irony is fantastic, recording the C.B. in a cathedral for the acoustics).

Actually, a good third of her performances were professionally recorded, but somehow, we never got a copy. Imam was given one, once, and she gave it away to Kevin, who... well, couldn't care less.

Er, clarification: it's "one of Setsu's CDs" because she owns it and listens to it. She's definitely not Chanticleer.

It'd be great to have a recording of the motets she performed, though.

Can you ship stuff outside the UK? Because... uhh, I like Silent Hill! And I have been meaning to buy Automatic For The People since, um, I was about seventeen.

(Also, Noir as in the anime? And, um, how much would you want for the Photoshop? We could really do with a copy of that, since I've been wanting to format our PC for a while but Calla doesn't want to lose the Photoshop we installed on it, and we don't have a disk, so yeah... Thing is, we are very broke ourselves so it might have to wait til after the 19th so we can make sure we can actually cover the rent first.)

[info]flatlanders

Can you ship stuff outside the US?

The answer is YES! We will ship anywhere if you pay the shipping for it, and use any specific shipping extras (insurance, faster shipping, etc.) if you're also paying for them. Shipping to another country just means we have to fill out a customs form, and we're pretty used to that, from shipping to and from Canadian friends (and [info]placeholder, when they were in Wales).

Also, Noir as in the anime?

Yes! Noir as in the anime, starring Yuumura Kirika and Mireille Bouquet. It's has the first five episodes on it.

A warning, though: all our DVDs are Region 1 and NTSC format. (Well, except for a boxset not listed there that's Region 0 and PAL, but that's what computers are for!)

? And, um, how much would you want for the Photoshop?

Well, considering it's four versions behind the current one... does $20 sound reasonable? That just about halves the price for each version difference, and it takes into account the Educational Discount, also.

Thing is, we are very broke ourselves so it might have to wait til after the 19th so we can make sure we can actually cover the rent first.

Well, if we could put Lunar on ice for the Modsouls, I don't see why we couldn't do the same for you with the windows version of Photoshop.

Holy crap, no $20 does not sound reasonable. I will pay you $40 fucking minimum. =P Seriously, I'd have to pay £XBOX to get a working copy of it anywhere else, so yeah.

Well, if we could put Lunar on ice for the Modsouls, I don't see why we couldn't do the same for you with the windows version of Photoshop.

That would be really awesome of you. Can I email you after rent-day when I see how much I have left over?

We are able to ship anywhere the USPS ships to! Anyone in the UK is thus in luck, but anyone in outer space is, sadly, going to have to use an earthbound proxy.

The FictionJunction YUUKA album is actually Yuki Kajiura in disguise, by the way—Yuuka's the singer, but Kajiura composed all the songs. It was bought directly from Japan, like Bougainvillea, the Silent Hill 2 OST, and a few other CDs were.

fantastic! would it be okay to wait a couple of days- we live with [info]serpens, so it makes more sense to sort something out with them so you can send everything in one box rather than two. we're just visiting our parents at the moment so we're not at home, but we will be by Sunday night.

how much do you want for the Yuki Kajiura, Poe, R.O.D, and Lain CDs? we can probably spare about $25, and pay shipping on top of that. we really want to help you guys out somehow, and the exchange rates at the moment are really fantastic, so. :)

That makes sense, yes! Two boxes would probably cost more in shipping, too, since neither of you are buying anything particularly heavy.

Let's see. That's seven cds—two with their packaging (Poe and R.O.D), and five without, if Yuki Kajiura includes FictionJunction YUUKA (the stealth Kajiura CD). If we charge $3 each for the two with packaging, that's $6, and then $2 each for the five without, that's $10, which is $16 total before shipping. Is that okay?

IBM CD ROM work on a Windows XL 2000?

Do you mean Windows XP or Windows 2000? "IBM CD-ROM" used to mean that it ran on either DOS or Windows 3.0 or Windows 95, so if your computer can run DOS or old Windows programs, it should be able to do just fine.

Get back to us on a price, and address and we would be sending a M/0 so, let us know who to make it out to.

Well, let's see... the Nirvana cd is in its packaging, while Sgt. Pepper's, Ray Charles, Sarah Vaughan, and Miyata are all cds without packaging. Alice in Wonderland are two DVDs without packaging. If we used a similar pricing for you that we just offered for [info]allcaps, and then $5 for the Alice in Wonderland DVDs, that would bring it to $16 before shipping.

For a Money Order, can we discuss the address and name in email? We're not too comfortable with posting our legal name in public here... we'll email you at the martyia@hotmail.com address, since the other tags you used didn't go through.

Well, both cds have their packaging, so we'd hope for a bit more than a dollar each—we offered $3 each to [info]allcaps. Almost An Island is also autographed with a silver pen by all the members of Wolfstone, so we'd like to charge slightly more than that, since you'd be buying the autographs along with the CD itself.

What you're buying wouldn't be too heavy, so it could be sent Priority Mail, and that's $4.60 anywhere in the States. If you wanted cheaper shipping, there's also first class and media mail, both of which are slower but would be less than $2.50 altogether.

Hm, well, how about $15 total? That's $5 for the Hellboy, then, and $10 for both Wolfstone CDs. We can probably send it out as soon as the Paypal clears since your address is in the states—one of the local post offices has a 24/7 APC machine...

Any chance we could put the Slayers Next soundtracks on reserve until we've got some more money? We don't care about the knockoffs-- we'll just say all the money is for the third disc and the cost of shipping.

Yes. We definitely can put them on hold for you.

(It is good to hear from you, Julian.)

Um...give me until the end of the week and I can give you $50 for it?

I can do more if you want, I know it's a newer version and I don't know how much the educational discount is.

Actually, $50 is very reasonable. The newest versions of Adobe Anything are invariably around $300 each with an educational discount, but online, used versions of Illustrator 6 seem to retail between $50 and $90.

(I apologize for how long it took to get back to you about this...)
